We often tell you how fortunate we are to photograph all over the world. Yes, the world. In the past twelve months, we have traveled to Savannah, GA; Orlando, FL; Silverthorne, CO; Boston, MA; Philadelphia, PA; Washington, D.C.; Fort Lauderdale, FL; Florence, Italy; Amalfi Coast of Italy; and most recently…Grand Isle, Vermont! As destination wedding photographers, we communicate with you ahead of the session to plan the location(s) for your session or wedding. We both feel like travel is soul food, and cannot wait to visit unique places.
When I first met Allie & Tyler at our studio, we sat down to talk about plans for their upcoming wedding. I was excited when Tyler mentioned that he grew up in the islands on Lake Champlain in VT and we started planning a fall session up there. Allie & Tyler are new parents, and we thought it would be fun to include their daughter, Leila, in a portion of the session. We planned for October weather, but lucked out with a 70-degree day on the lake. I couldn’t have been happier!
Here is more of their story:
“Allie and I met while going to school in Cambridge at Lesley University. We were both part of the Admissions Ambassadors program which gave tours to prospective students. At our first meeting of the year, in the fall of 2013, we were introducing ourselves to the group and I came up with something clever to spark her interest, it didn’t work. It wasn’t until a month later that I got her number and we started talking. We had our first date in December, right before we both went home for a month in between semesters.
That felt like the longest January ever not getting to see Allie. Needless to say, I made sure to see her everyday once we got back to school. After we graduated we moved in together in Boston. We got engaged in August 2016. Most recently we have welcomed the biggest bundle of joy to our family in September 2017, Leila Noel. We look forward to all of the happiness that our future holds! ”
