Manhattan Rooftop Wedding at 620 Loft and Garden

Weddings

Gloria & John had the most incredible Manhattan rooftop wedding at 620 Loft & Garden. This venue, let me tell you, is an absolute dream. Nestled in the heart of Rockefeller Center, it offers the most breathtaking views overlooking Radio City Music Hall and Rockefeller Center itself…like can you imagine a more iconic New York City backdrop? Gloria & John’s Day was seriously one for the books!

The Beautiful, Rainy Manhattan Rooftop Wedding at 620 Loft and Garden

Gloria & John started their day by getting ready photos in the 620 Loft & Garden rooftop penthouse. This spot is perfect for capturing those pre-ceremony moments. Despite the rain, the couple’s spirits were high, and we made the most of the beautiful interior spaces.  But oh my gosh… it was one of those days where the rain just wouldn’t let up. But honestly, it made the day even more special. The rooftop photos during the rain? These are some of my favorites of the day!

The reception was held inside the venue, which is this gorgeous blank slate room with windows framing those amazing views. It turned into the perfect cozy, intimate space for the couple and their guests.

The Ceremony at St. Patrick’s Cathedral

Then came the shuttle bus ride, coordinated by the fabulous team at 5th Avenue Weddings and Events, to St. Patrick’s Cathedral for the ceremony. If you haven’t been there, St. Patrick’s is just stunning!  A little heads-up if you’re planning a wedding there – the schedule is TIGHT. There were three weddings back-to-back that day, each with exactly one hour. So, if you’re thinking of tying the knot at St. Patrick’s, be prepared for some strict timing.

Also, they have specific rules for photographers and videographers. One of those rules – you can’t go up to the altar for close-ups. But of course, I still made it work – I used a long lens to capture those beautiful close-ups without breaking any rules. The results were amazing, and Gloria & John were thrilled with their photos!

620 Loft and Garden Wedding

I wanted to talk a bit more about this beautiful venue! 620 Loft & Garden has the most stunning views of 5th Avenue, and offers an exquisite outdoor garden and a loft space that’s perfect for any event. The rooftop garden is lush and green, with beautiful seasonal plantings and a reflecting pool. The garden space is perfect for ceremonies or cocktail hours. A portion of the garden was covered with a tent, so even during the rainy weather, the guests could enjoy the Manhattan views and a bit of fresh air.

The interior loft space is equally stunning. It’s a versatile, blank slate room with large windows that flood the space with natural light and provide amazing city skyline views. This flexibility allows couples to customize the space, making each wedding unique.
