A boudoir session at our studio begins with your professional hair & makeup next door from Kissandmakeup – a Connecticut Hair & Makeup Artist. You can inquire about availability for your hair/makeup service directly through their website, depending on what you’re looking for on the day of your session. They will quote you on services and when I say they’ll make you look and feel amazing…I mean, AMAZING. These ladies are insanely talented with brushes, to say the least, and their studio is adjacent to ours with a shared lobby space.

Once you enter our studio, we’ll look at your outfits and accessories together to plan the flow for what will work best for your session. Favorite music – Spotify! We’ll begin by helping direct you into poses that flatter your body and personality – because we can all agree a great smile, beautiful eyes, and a confident attitude are the most sexy features a woman can put on, right?

This session was part one of two, with two friends booking back-to-back sessions. Needless to say, they were less nervous and laughed more by supporting one another. Next session coming up this week on our social media and blog…stay tuned!

Following your session, you’ll visit our studio again for your ordering session. You’ll sit down to a slideshow to view your images, then look through the full set of matted photographic proofs in print. This experience lets you focus on choosing the photos that really show your beauty and confidence, so that your album and wall art is truly something you’ll be proud of showing off. We can offer advice when you have questions, rather than handing you a download or a disc and sending you on your way. Boudoir is an experience every woman should do at least once in her life!
