We first met Kelsey and her mom at the Mohegan Sun Bridal Expo last winter (we’ll be back again this February, so stop by and say hi at our booth!!!!) and couldn’t wait for her and Alan to get married! Their two little girls made this day even more special, by being the cutest flower girls, and by truly making the day seem like a merging of families. Kelsey has some serious DIY wedding talent, in addition to running her own business (check out @totesaddicted on Insta!!!) – she created the centerpieces, bouquets, even did her own makeup and everything was absolutely stunning. I’m pretty much ready to have her come to my house and redesign everything so it’s light & airy and beautiful.

I have to say, though…my favorite part of this wedding was photographing the genuine moments like when Kelsey’s dad pulled out a photo of her as a child on his shoulder and they both shed a few tears. Moments like seeing her dance with her mom on the dance floor, or when Alan’s mom was convinced to come out on the dance floor even though she had a temporary air cast for her ankle. This wedding was truly beautiful not only in the details and planning, but in the authentic emotion shown by Kelsey and Alan with their family and friends.

I CANNOT WAIT to see their wedding album, which will no doubt be shown to their children for years to come.
